Efforts to make Hyderabad a global city are in full swing with the inauguration of first-of-its kind integrated logistics park at Mangalapalle on Hyderabad-Nagarjunasagar highway in Rangareddy district by Ancon Group and HMDA, Government of Telangana, under PPP mode on 11th October, 2019. This facility is spread over an area of 22 acres and has 2.5 lakhs of Grade A warehouse space. The first-in-the country PPP model for logistics hubs concept helps the city administration in de-congestion of freight traffic coming into the city from all directions.

The park has facilities such as parking for 250 trucks, service centres, warehousing, fuel stations, provision for cold storage, a primary health centre, dormitories and food courts.

The second one is coming up near Batasingaram on Hyderabad-Vijayawada highway (NH 65)  and will be ready for inauguration in about 3 months from now.

Each logistics park will provide direct employment to about 800-1,000 people and indirect employment to 2,000 people and enable easy movement of goods within the city and from across the country. In addition, these parks will help industries like e-commerce, food processing and agritech in easier and swift movement of goods.

A total of  eight logistics parks will come up along 162-km long ORR, which has 19 interjunctions as a part of plans to make Hyderabad, a logistics hub of India. Logistics is one of the 14 thrust areas identified by Government of Telangana's state industrial policy.
